Kia ora!
We are Larissa and Ngahuru.
Originally Dutch now living on the Coromandel peninsula in Aotearoa New Zealand with my husband and Ngahuru, our dog.
Soon I realized in order to be able to live with our giant breed dog I needed to up my knowledge and leadership skills.
Even though I have had dogs in the past I took a couple of dog training courses and started to see results. I noticed Ngahuru was thriving and personally I liked all the learning so much that I decited to enroll myself to the Will Atherton Academy in the UK to become an actual dog trainer and canine behaviorist myself!
And here I am today graduated from the will atherton academy and now ready and excited to help you!
After graduating I still stay enrolled to the WA academy so I keep learning and improving myself, stay in touch with Will and the other academy members and stay up to date on what’s going on in the canine world and the realms of dog training. I’m so humbled to be part of this team.
My main motivation is to help safe dogs in my own way by training dogs and their humans.
By empowering every dog owner to become a better leader to their dog.
To inspire you and to have you believe that the impossible is possible by building confidence, by providing high value leadership skills and balanced training methodologies to get the dog you initially dreamed of.
All to avoid dogs being misunderstood and unnecessarily being given up.
So all involved can live a happy and fulfilling life in harmony with each other.
A further step of this is to help educate the community how to understand and live with man’s best friend. Making it a safer place to live in together.
This is how I’d like to contribute to saving dogs in general,
I feel this is my piece of the puzzle.
Let’s do this!
Let’s build a better place for dogs and us within our communities 💜
